ATO Tax Agent authorisation process

Businesses must nominate their tax agent in Online services for business

The ATO requires businesses and entities to formally nominate their tax agent through Online services for business before the agent can act on their behalf.

This requirement applies when:

  • appointing a new tax agent
  • re‑appointing an agent
  • changing the authorisations you give an existing agent

Your tax agent cannot complete this step for you.
The nomination must be completed by the business.

If you decide to authorise us as your tax agent

Our details are:

  • Tax Agent Name: Romeo Caporaso
  • Registered Agent Number (RAN): 00449008

Once you’ve completed the nomination, please let us know, as the ATO does not automatically notify us.
